We started SWFLMobile.com provide business owners a way showing their business information to customers that use their cell phones to surf the internet. Most business websites aren’t optimized for people that visit their website with a cell phone. Most cell phone users don’t want to wait for your graphic and video heavy websites to load. Once the website does load then they have to scroll around in the cell phone’s browser window to find what they are looking for which just irritates your potential customers even more. Cell phone users are generally looking for very specific information (location, hours, phone number) and they want it fast. Our Mobiles Sites are optimized for cell phone users that visit your site looking for information, and wanting if fast.
The image to the left is a sample of the sites we made for one of our other businesses. EVERYTHING is customizable on the mobile site. We can change the color of everything and add and remove anything we need. The pages shown are just the most popular pages that our previous customers have ordered. We can create new pages and probably do whatever you need to the page. All we need is your logo and the information you want entered on the page, we will take care of the rest.
The Home Page also has a “Tap To Call” button that customers can just Tap and their phone will start dialing your number. Each page also has a link to the mobile version of your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages if you have them.
Your customers can bookmark your mobile site on their cell phone browsers and get all of your updated information at the touch of a button without having to call you for every simple question. Some of your loyal customers might even put the link to your site on the home screen of their phone and make your information just 1 click away.
So, are you wondering how a cell phone knows how to go to the mobile site instead of the normal website? Do you have to give everyone your new mobile site address for it to work?
Part of setting up your mobile site to work when somebody goes to your normal site is by installing what is called a “re-direct script” into your normal site. This re-direct script can tell that a cell phone is trying to access the site and will tell the cell phone’s browser to go to the mobile site instead.
There are several places you can host the mobile site that the script sends the cell phone users to:
m.yoursites.com (a subdomain on your own site)
yoursite.com/mobile site (a folder on your own site)
yoursite.mobi (your site with a .mobi domain name instead of .com)
The redirect script, or plugin if you are using WordPress for your site, still needs to be installed on your main site. We will give you the script to add to your site or you can have your webmaster do it. We can also do the installation for you, but we will need your cPanel password to upload the file.

UPDATING AND CUSTOM WORK
We will update your site for a fee of $40/hr with a 1/2 hour minimum. Most updates take about a 1/2 hour. Most updates are for changing coupons and menu items and prices. We can do whatever updates you need.
