NXP is in talks to acquire Ambarella, a fabless maker of edge-AI vision SoCs. The market read it as a move to dominate automotive AI. Ambarella is not a small fry. Its CVflow architecture powers dashcams, security cameras, and the CV3-AD family for automated driving.
